Deutz-Fahr:

Tracing its roots back to 1927 Deutz-Fahr tractor production was the outgrowth of Nicolaus August Otto’s invention of the first 4-stroke combustion engine in 1827 in Cologne, Germany.

Since that time, Motorenfabrik N.A. Otto & Cie has evolved into one of the world’s leaders in agricultural technology, with other such notable accomplishments as the diesel engine (1927), mass production of small tractors (1927) and air-cooled diesel engines in 1949. In 1995, in response to market demand for quieter, yet larger capacity tractors, Deutz-Fahr introduced the water-cooled Agrotron Series, which feature highly reliable, fuel-efficient Deutz engines, and are among the most technologically advanced tractors in the world.

Deutz-Fahr tractors have been distributed in North America since the early 1960s. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions, Deutz-Fahr is now majority-owned by SAME Deutz-Fahr Group, the largest privately owned

agricultural manufacturer in the world.

All TYM tractors are manufactured by state-of-the-art engineering company "Tong Yang Moolsan", of South Korea. With the benefit of over 40 years of manufacturing experience in agricultural machinery more than 10,000 tractors are now made each year to meet an ever-growing demand in countries from the United States to Australia, as well as throughout the European community.

Foton:

FOTON tractors are manufactured in Weifang, China, by FOTON Heavy Industries. In addition to tractors, they produce combines, dozers, excavators, cranes and other construction equipment - as well as cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc.

FOTON HI imports components such as the LUK Clutches (Germany) and Dana Front Axles from world-famous suppliers to put in the 82 HP Series. FOTON HI is the No. 1
manufacturer in China for Agricultural machinery and among the Top 5 in construction machinery.

Walnut Knoll Farms & Supply, LLC has been selling FOTON tractors since the spring of 2005. There is a 3 year warranty on all of our FOTON tractors, first year covers everything, 2^nd & 3^rd year covers the powertrain. We have a supply of parts on hand and take pride in servicing what we sell. We have sold over 100 tractors since we have started selling Fotons and several of these have been sold outside of our service area (200 mile radius from Flemingsburg, KY). However, any mechanic can service them if warranty work is necessary.
